I’d just like to say that I do appreciate the 5-minute edit period.
I just noticed one of the ads at the bottom of the page is: The AntiChrist: Free Book
Coincidence? I think not. 
Speaking as someone who is lousy at spelling and grammar, I love the edit window.
It’s great, especially when you’ve been drinking.
Or if you really aren’t as funny as you sometimes think you are.

No, it’s always been five minutes. I think it’s a wonderful thing, myself.
I know I benefit from the 5 minute edit window on a regular basis. It is nice to know that constant polite reasonable begging does seem to get rewarded. I begged for two things, the 5 minute edit window and the Sports & Games forum.
I also greatly appreciate the addition of the PMs and the fact we can now view up to 200 posts per page. This is a great feature for me.

i dunno. for better or for worse, it killed the 1920s style of jokes.
I truly love the 5-minute edit feature but hate when it’s negated by timeouts. Grrrr. If only I didn’t commit the errors that necessitate the edit in the first place.
Perhaps we need to get ahead of the game and start the 2020s style of jokes. Just to be clear, ya know.

That last one was specifically **TubaDiva ** tweaking a setting at someones request. It proves that it pays to ask politiely. Even if it cannot be done 9 out of 10 times. The 10% that can be done is good to learn. This is one reason why I try to read the ATMB threads.

Go to Edit Options under Quick Links.
In the Thread Display Options
The Number of Posts to Show Per Page has a pull down that allows a setting of 200 posts per page.
Click the **Save Changes ** button at the bottom.

200 post per page?! that’s just not right! it’s always been 50 posts dangnabit. That’s like all this talk of a multi-channel universe. When I was a kid, we only had 12 channels on the tv, and only three of them worked, and one was Yorkton so it didn’t really count. Now you expect me to plough through 200 posts at a time?! humph and botheration!
