Thank you, Aldebaran!

On the last page of this thread I said this to you in post number 214:

To which you replied:

The thread was closed before I could reply, so allow me to say here:

Thanks for the belly laugh, sir, and you may rest assured I shall be taking your advice as often as possible.

Ahem. The attempt to put into practice Aldebaran’s advice has run into a small snag, as Squash refuses to cooperate.

Oh, well. Perhaps I’ll just sit here and watch the boy chase and catch the cursor. That should be soothing for the blood pressure.

Gads - you let the cats touch your monitor?

Don’t tell me you’re a screen-toucher! Screen-touchers have no souls!

What - think I’m kidding? Just try and touch my computer screen, bucko.

Oh wow what a beautiful cat you have! I just love ginger kitties. The white socks on his feet are the perfect touch.

I wanted an orange kitty when my old ginger cat died last year. We couldn’t find quite the right orange kitten so I settled for a white sweetie with a ginger tail and some lovely orange spots on his back.

Cute cat, but you should tell him to sit further back from the screen, he’ll ruin his eyes that way.

Yes, I know that cats never listen.

My goodness, ETF, those pictures are way too cute!!! You should warn a guy.

My husband once used Albert (the cat) to clean the TV. He just picked him up and rubbed his side on the screen, and it worked!

(If anyone would like to borrow Albert to test this remarkable invention, let me know!)

I have a gray tabby named Booger who would be good for this. The advantage is the dust is the same color as his fur…

Albert is a long-hair, so he can dust in crevices really well. Be alert that you might have to shove Booger into cracks.

Er, or something like that.

Way back when the first Nintendo came out, I had a game called Kid Icarus. The cats loved it. They would watch the character jumping, bobbing, and weaving and every once in a while try to catch it. (Sans claws, thankfully.) They also enjoyed the sudden movements and dinging of Mike Tyson’s Boxing.

The more since what I say is true.
A few good deep catclaw scratches combined with a jump into the fresh air (at best at rainy or snowy days in a naturally cold climate) and a horse taking your foot for a step up (for the best result this should be done on a stone or concrete floor) is the best natural medicin for headaches.

I read here advise for the practical use of grey cats as help in the household ( and an unpayed one at that) which I shall pass on. Mine has very long plushy hairs, so I guess that must work well ?

Aldebaran, it was a cheap shot at ETF and undeserved. Get over it, already.

ETF, can I snuggle your cats and play with them sometime?

???

Do you read English or do you come from An Alien Planet?
Salaam. A

Whooooooooooooosh!

Will you two just put each other on your fucking ignore lists already. Your sniping at each other is so tiresome.

Fool! Now I must destroy this puny planet with my death ray! runs to spaceship, gets beamed up

(I perceived a rather sarcastic attack on ETF’s love of her animals in your post. Do correct me if I’m wrong.)

Ok. You’ve got a headache. A 1500-pound horse steps on your foot. You gonna worry about your headache now?

Yeah, I got that part.

But I thought Aldebaran was taking a shot at ETF’s love of her horses. If he wasn’t, salaam, pax, and peace to him, too.

Why would you perceive what you perceived?
I don’t even recall I have ever “met” you in this cyberspot.
