I just got an email telling me how many counties and cities I have been to in the past month and how many places and how many are new, how many miles I have driven and how many hours I have been behind the wheel.
Why? And why has this just started? I don’t care, I obviously have a GPS in my car. Not worried about Big Brother (yet, I use the word “yet”), just curious. Do some people need this info?
It could be pretty useful establishing an alibi if you’re ever accused of something.

I got that same email today. I liked that it showed me the percentage of the earth’s circumference that I’ve traveled.
Yes, ‘78 was a good year! 
I’ve gotten them monthly for years. I find it interesting how widely or not I’m traveling. I used to travel enough miles to circumnavigate the globe annually but since covid I’m at like 25% of the way around and some months I don’t even travel 1,000 miles.
Or checking on a cheating spouse.
I wish it would remind me of how uncomfortable some of my travel
destinations were. Mostly doctor stuff.
It seems that’s all I ever do, these days.
