Thank you president Bush?

Well, perhaps it was inefficient to you,but we are quite comfortable now, and Have taken a trip to Europe. We do not need credit and the interest we have saved by buying what we want does not put us in debt. We had a small mortgage when we bought the farm but paid it up in 10 years. Our friends who live on credit now that they are old borrow from their children and cannot even buy medicines they need. Some are skimping to live on Social Security.

Monavis

The best way probably to use it is to spend it in such a way that it will immediately be spent again (either in capital expenditures or employee payouts). The worst way is to stuff it in a mattress (I doubt anyone would even do that), so the next worst thing probably is to put it in a simple interest low-yield account in a local area only bank (unless of course one’s goal is to stimulate the extremely local economy).

Maybe with a hundred bucks in your hands you might forget about the ME wars and all the other fuck ups that complete and utter idiot is responsible for.

Many people can forgive a greedy national leader whos policies make sense in the first place and are effective.
Just as many people can forgive an honest politician who is a total disaster when it comes to doing his job.

But a moron whos greedy AND a total fuckwit when it comes to running his government and country…?

Black and white view of the world, you advocate. I opposed Bush in the 2k elections and I was dismayed when he was re-elected.

The man has sinned and done some good things. I fully support judging him for both and I do not claim he did more good than harm, but I just don’t know enough to judge either way.

Heck, I was in favor of liberating Iraq even though I didn’t buy the reasons we were given. I thought it would be a blessing to the Iraqis I read about in Baghdad without a Map and Other Misadventures in Arabia (which I highly recommend by the way).

I can’t possibly know how good a job I would have done in his stead. Odds are I’d have a better chance to end up hated than liked, despite my best of intentions. Let’s not demonize anyone, not even Bush.

Clearly you do not shop for Mexican whores and imported beer where I do.

(I am so embarrassed for even thinking that much less writing it.)
