I just got done watching The Young Philadelphians for the first time (I know, shame on me) on Turner Classic Movies (uncut, commercial-free, and letterbox format!). What a great movie. Paul Newman was wonderful, as usual, with lots of good actors. It was certainly better than than that year’s Best Picture winner, Ben-Hur. It just goes to show that even forty years ago, Hollywood liked their epics.
My cable company only just recently got TCM. It’s one of the very few times I’ve actually been happy with them.
Good stuff on that station. Gooooooood stuff.
TCM, TSO (Turner South), and ACM are all godsends. The Monster Marathons are not to be missed.
For a minute there, I thought you said “Munster Marathons.”
