I think you know that I don’t have any malicious intent when I post stuff like a link to Cecil’s past article on pot brownies. I just think it’s amusing to highlight the contortions that the original inquisitive spirit of Cecil must undergo when adapting to the current politically correct climate–which, I must emphasize, is not a problem of the SDMB or any particular mod. Sadly, they have to adapt to the times, though, and sometimes they’re put in an unfair position when trying to balance the spirit of inquiry with legal liability.
But, as you pointed out, sometimes it’s best not to go stirring up trouble, and I appreciate your nipping this small bit of trouble in the bud. FTR, I hate drugs, but I’m sometimes addicted to playing the role of the gadfly.
