Thanks for the nice lady at REI who applied the “20% off one full-priced item for each REI Member” discount when I decided to exchange the backpack I’d ordered last week (when there wasn’t a 20% off sale).
The one I ordered arrived today, but when I went to the store to try it on, it was too big. So I approached the Customer Service desk determined to fork over another $30 to upgrade to the higher-end model that fit me.
It isn’t often you end up with a $30 refund for upgrading.
