Actually the person to thank was one of the moderators in the affected forum.

This has got to be a first! Someone started a thread thanking the mods for closing a thread. You are a new kind of newbie, you Bastard.
The best we can hope for is that you learned from it, oh misnamed one (bastards, as a rule, do not do anything as civil as apologise). I hope you become one of the regulars around here, or maybe just someone who pops in every so often and makes worthwhile comments.
