That cute host from TLC's "While you were out"! Real/Fake?

I hate her eyebrows but the rest of her well makes up for this flaw unless she’s artificially enhanced!
I know this may be taken as a sexist non-tasteful thread (it is) but, I’d love some DOPE on this little hottie host!

Her name’s Teresa Strasser.

Go forth and Google, son, and all will come to you.

I’ll get you started.

I like the other chick better. (The one who actually works)

I think she and the carpenter have a ‘thing’ going on…look at how they are always arguing.

I agree she’s cute.

I think the female carpenter, (Leslie I think), is why I tune in every now and then though.

But she always gets stuck with the sewing and craft projects while Andrew gets to do all the hard core carpentry projects-- what up with that?

And has Andrew ever not fallen behind? Plus, he gets so many measurements wrong you think he needs a remedial course in using his tape measure. . . .

I kinda liked the original host of Trading Spaces. The current ones are nice enough, but nothing special…

Back off! Alex McCloud is the future Alex Munch. That deep, gravely voice is soo sexy.

InLikeFlynn, which “While You Were Out” host are you talking about? There have been two.

Uh no…In the rare instance when it has been his fault, he has sucked it up and said as much.

The blame usually lies with the wimmin making bad measurements, or whichever half-cocked designer they have that week.

The times that he does not fall behind, are the times when the designer actually listens to him. (“What, you mean I can’t get this 7 foot by 9 foot entertainment center to fit on this 5 foot wide wall?! It’s the centerpiece of the room!! What kind of carpenter are you?”)

Teresa Strasser is (or at least was) a contributing writer for the Los Angeles Jewish Journal. You can learn more about her from this piece of hers. Go to this search results page to find a whole bunch of other articles she’s written.

I don’t really care who presents it…what I like to know is how with a budget higher than Trading Spaces, they still manage to make crappy/shabby looking furniture/drapes/etc??

They never buy furniture, where in the hell do they spent their money on?? I believe their budget is 1500, up 500 from Trading Spaces but from the looks you would guess it’s the other way around…

Speaking of While You Were Out, the first episode I saw had a blonde hostess. What happened to her? I prefer Teresa, I just wondered.

I didn’t care too much for either Kia’s or Hildi’s room in that episode, but Hildi’s was functional if sparse. Kia’s…I agree with the sentiment that it just looked cheap.

More on Teresa…

Anna Bocci is an actress, whose most recent television work has been in commercials for Pizza Hut and Earthlink. There’s a band who’s such big fans that they named themselves “The Anna Bocci Band”. You can read an interview one of their members did with here here.

I had a brain fart on that last post and responded to two different threads at once. Must’ve gotten the dosage wrong again.

She’s a friend of mine, so I feel like I have to defend her honor or something: she’s a totally organic beauty, no artificial sweeteners or other additives.

Well tell her to give me the dirt on that other girl.

She can slipcover my furniture any day.

Not that I don’t think Teresa is attractive and all…The other girl just does something for me. (Trying to keep Miss Strasser’s honor intact or something)

Sometimes it’s $1,000, sometimes it’s $1,500. I think for the outside makeovers, they budget more, because plants and water features cost so much.
I know there’s a Mexican-themed deck makeover (the one that started with no deck, just the concrete support pillars because the HOs had removed the falling-down deck), Teresa specifically said they had increased the usual $1,000 budget to $1,500 for this project becasue of the lumber costs.

Sadly for you, Leslie Segrete is married, so I doubt she’d take you up on your offer, no matter how flattering.

Exactly…I hate to have the woman go the rest of her life married to the wrong man.

It’s odd. I wouldn’t call her hot, but there is something very sexy about her. She has kinda big hip/thighs though if memory serves.
