What was this supposed to be about? A fashion show for nuns?
Was it part of a movie?

It was a scene from Fellini’s Roma. I think he was attempting to mock what he saw as the excesses of the Catholic church in this scene. If you read the comments for this video you will see how controversial it still is.

I haven’t seen *Roma *in many years, but wasn’t there some parallel drawn between nuns and prostitutes?
