The only thing Uri Geller has ever bent is gullible minds. Now, spoons not being satisfactory any more, the fucker’s claims to have caused the glitch in the raising the Olympic Torch.
Anybody who buys into this bullshit needs a serious reality check or failing that, a lobotomy.

You may be thinking of James “The Amazing” Randi. Rest assured, he’s still out there, fighting the good fight against predatory shiznits like Geller.
Randi’s column at http://www.randi.org is a good read each and every week. Everyone–“believer” types and all–should check it out. I’m willing to bet money that he addresses this Geller/Opening Ceremony issue this coming week.

It sounds more like Uri is trying to keep his name in the news, by whatever means possible. Since he was debunked a while back, he’s be pretty low-key. Now he’s trying to make a comeback. That’s my guess.
You know, I’ve always thought of Geller as a national embaressment. This is one of the most famous Israelis in the world?
Thank God he’s been living abroad for the last few decades.
This was a huge step forward towards nuclear disarmament.
And besides gullible minds, he’s also bent credulity.
