So, I’m reading the paper at lunch, as I usually do, and I’m reading about Bush talking about what a great president Clinton was (that alone was enough to put me off my lunch) and I look at the pic of Chelsea and think: “You GO girl!” She looks incredible! That poor girl put up with so many insults and so much derision about her looks.
I know. I saw before and after pics on the front of one of the tabloids in the super market checkout. The after pic didn’t even look like her to me ( but it does look just like the pic to which you posted a link)
If it wasn’t plastic surgery then she’s had one helluva makeover.
Hmm, that explains the “Chelsea’s Plastic Surgery Secrets!!!” headline I saw on a tabloid the other day – alas, the line was actually moving, so I didn’t get a chance to read the story.
So Chelsea Clinton is a beautiful intelligent young woman and Rush Limbaugh, who called her “the White House dog,” is a fat old drug addict, under criminal investigation, in the initial stages of his third divorce.
Heh.
See, Otto, this just reinforces my belief in karma.
Or maybe she’s just grown up? Awkward adolescents often turn into attractive adults.
I still think that was the most offensive thing Rush ever said, BTW.
Even better, I’d bet she has close to the combined IQ of the Bush twins. Smart women are sexy. Drunks, less so.
She seems like a really good kid. Despite a very unconventional upbringing that at times must have been exceedingly difficult, I’m glad to see her coming out looking like a swan. It’ll be interesting to see what qualities she looks for in her love life.
Very nice. Insult two young ladies because you don’t like their father. Thats twice as bad as Rush, he only insulted one.
I might be miss remembering but I thought it was SNL that did the insult. Maybe it was both.
Oh, plastic surgery? Pooh. She’s just grown up, got highlights in her hair and puts on her makeup well! I watched the ceremony live this morning and she looks dynamite. And I must say, she does photograph well. That’s a really good photo of her.
Man! She’s spit-and-image of BOTH her parents! I always liked her and I felt so sorry for her having to endure the Blow Job Days at the White House, being a young woman and all. Looks like she weathered the storm just fine.
Whoaa, Chelsea! How you doin’?
Talk about night and day with my memory of how she looked back at Stanford…
I disagree with the tabloid- I don’t think she had plastic surgery. The basic structure of her face looks the same to me, but it looks like someone’s given her some very useful tips regarding makeup and hair. I never thought she was unattractive; just teenaged and needing a little time to grow into her face.
Jon Bon Jovi saw her potential years ago, and wrote his hit Midnight in Chelsea…
I don’t see where he said anything about their father. I thought he was insulting them on account of being drunks.
SNL did a Chelsea insult, but it wasn’t that one.
Must just be me, but I think she still looks just hideous. She’s just not attractive --it’s not like it runs in the family. They’re known for political acumen, not beauty.
Hey mister glass house; unless you’ve never used a fake ID, had a drink before you were 21, or been drunk, then put down that stone. Along with everyone else who has been to college, I’ve done all that and I am not a drunk. I’ll say it again, there is no need to insult two young ladies because you don’t like their father. They have never put themselves in the spotlight on purpose and from all accounts they do not wish to be public figures. If you wish to insult people take it to the pit.
I have to agree about Chelsea. Its nice to see that see appears to be happy and well adjusted after the life she was forced by circumstance to lead. Being an awkward teen is bad enough, but to do it in front of the world had to be horrible.
Holy crap…talk about separated at birth!
I’m in the plastic surgery camp - it looks like she got a nose job to reduce her Bill-sized beezer to me.
Heh, heh, heh, heh, heh, heh, heh, heh, heh, heh, heh!
Actually, all the remarks Rush Limbaugh made about the first daughter’s appearance kind of lose some impact, in my thinking, due to the source.
I mean, it’s like being called a “dummy” by Homer Simpson, you know?
