KC hasn’t won a game since September 23rd. That would have me nervous if I were a Steelers fan.

I have a bad feeling the Steelers are going to play down to the Chiefs level, and this will be a game in the 4th quarter.
I can’t let myself think the Steelers will lose. Not to the Chiefs. But it’s a classic blow off game befpre the big one. Baltimore comes into town next week, and if the Steelers aren’t looking past 1-7 KC, I’d be shocked.
It would be nice to see the Steelers win by 20+ points… But unless the Chiefs implode un the 4th, I think this will be one of those long games for Steeler fans. Llets hope Im wrong.
Classic trap game. I see we’re all ready for it to go down to the wire, with the not-so-small possibility that the Steelers will lose.
Some may say that we’re overreacting, that the Chiefs are terrible and it will be a lock. Those people are clearly not Steelers fans, they haven’t seen the team play down to their opponents time and time again.
So, with that in mind, here’s my score prediction:
Steelers 35, Chiefs 17.
They’re going to beat KC to death. Let’s be real here, guys.
We all have two recent poor games against the Chiefs in memory too. The 13-9 game last year which was a win but barely and the previous meeting was so disappointing I still haven’t gotten over it.
Haley has something to prove in this one even if he hasn’t said much about it.
So in other words, easier to rape?
Brady Quinn is starting for KC. You guys should be seriously worried.
If you do lose to a Brady Quinn-led squad, you will be the laughing stock of the board!
Quinn’s hurt. Cassel is back. Not sure if that is better or worse.

Ah, didn’t know that. Quinn is listed as the starter on their website’s depth chart. Well…Cassel isn’t much better. It’s interesting. KC should be better than they are. They have some weapons on offense. Maybe they will show up on MNF and make a game of it.

Either the Steelers are contracted by ESPN, the NFL and The People For the Preservation of Football in Kansas City to play to the level of their opponent and keep people watching, or the Steelers are doing what they almost always do. Play to the level of their opponent. KC is terrible. They are playing terrible football tonight. And the Steelers are matching them stink for stink.
This Steeler team does not beat the Ravens.
From the limited amount of action I saw, the Chiefs were able to run the ball on that vaunted Steelers defense. Now it’s overtime, 13-13. Ugly game.

I don’t think the Steelers should have even won the game. The Chiefs played horribly! How many mistakes, bad penalties, turnovers, etc, etc, can one team survive? They played like a turd and still almost won.
I don’t understand how a team can not get up for the Chiefs. The Steelers needed the win, mostly because of their pathetic losses to juggernauts like Oakland, Tennessee and well, Denver (maybe I’m being harsh about Denver). But they had to win to be 6-3 and still be in position for a wild card.

Problems all of a sudden popped up all over the place. If Big Ben’s arm is hosed, what kind of options does that leave the Steelers? Batch? Leftwich? Man.
Leftwich… I remember this guy in Jacksonville. I knew he was a tree, but Jesus, the man grew roots. He also looks like Juan Marichal with that delivery. You can time it! It starts at his knees and he winds… he still has a cannon, but he needs a good 10 seconds of protection.

Troy is done, Leftwich is terrible (should have put in Batch) and the sorry Chiefs should have won if not for some inexplicable miscues. The Steelers played like shit.
No argument with your post, except what is WRONG with Troy? If he’s done, he’s done. He very well could be. But putting him on the sidelines if he won’t play for the rest of the year, if not ever, makes no sense. They need another body for their secondary, especially if Clark is hurt too.
They didn’t use Batch tonight because he was inactive, and he can’t come in unless Leftwich goes out with an injury. I don’t even think he was dressed. Randel-el, where are you?
