The 16th Annual Steelers March to the Super Bowl Thread

The Browns, being the Browns, will tie the Ratbirds. This would be good enough for the Steelers to make it to the playoffs, but they will blow a fourth quarter lead because Boswell (pulled off IR list in a last-minute coaches’ decision) misses 3 FG attempts, the last one in the last 4 seconds off the game. Referees explain to Tomlin that, no, he cannot challenge that. Again. Bell tweets a picture of an upside-down Bentley.
This would properly reflect the season.

Doors, I will be in the stadium also. I will be wearing a Brown jersey and explaining to the defense that they must “get him” , thus setting myself apart.

Cleveland draws within one point of Baltimore with seconds to spare, goes for the two-point conversion, fails.

Ravens 20, Browns 19.

I actually dreamed two specific scores while sleeping this morning.

Ravens 25-16 Browns
Steelers 34-0 Bengals.

Seems unlikely now.

Down 7 to the Bengals. The Rats are up 13.

Yeah, it’s over.

This could actually happen.

Up 3 to Bengals, Ravens up 6. You jumped off the cliff too soon.

What happens if Indy and Tennessee tie? However unlikely that result, it’s more likely this year than any previous year, at least for a long time.

In case of a tie, the Steelers make the playoffs.

That was about as close as close could be. Jarvis Landry catches that pass on 1st and I’m probably celebrating a playoff berth.

It is on matters of inches that fates of nations (and football teams) turn. It was, if nothing else, a wild season, just not a particularly good one. Those inches went to other teams this year.

You have a legitimately good QB that many other teams would kill to have. If he continues to improve I could see him as a franchise QB. That’s what a championship team needs.

Not at all

Never mind, I forgot you were a Steelers fan. I’m not sure what’s going to happen next year. I assume Bell won’t be around.

And if this article is correct, Antonio Brown might not be either.

So he didn’t play against the Bengals, desperately needing a win, due to being benched for behavior?

Maybe to San Francisco?

It’s official. I really hate Antonio Brown now.

Ahhh! That felt better.

But seriously, say what one will about Mike Tomlin (I think he’s a good but not great head coach) but the guy has earned a reputation of taking care of and having good relationships with his players. Unfortunately, players just take advantage of him, to the detriment of the team.
