I’m not really very interested right now in having power. It’s been quite a long time since I did.
I’m rfeminded of the strip in which Wally got a promotion and posted a memo, and Dilbert told him it smacks of abuse of power. Wally asked “Why else would anybody want power?”
If you discovered that you had a certain power, what would you want to do with it, except abuse it? I.e., use it to further your own personal interests at the expense of others. Which is kinda like theft. If you seek power, what does that say about you?
