They’ve really got a “world music” thing going on with the Best Song nominees, and I like it a lot. All three of these are good songs and there’s no ballady drivel. Or girls dancing around burning cars.

John Legend is wonderful, imagine the race of beautiful musicians he and Alicia Keyes could create. 
Yes! “Jai Ho”! I loved that song! So glad Slumdog took the music awards. Right after I saw that film I went right out and bought the soundtrack.
And of course in the one year where I actually liked all the song nominees, they choose to shorten them in a stupid montage.
Nitpick: he was speaking in Tamil, not Arabic.
