Yeah it shares the link directory with Fathom.
Please feel free to add your favorite links to the directory, please
Are we allowed to quibble?
When one is registering, the fields for “username” and “password” remain at the top, while the fields for actually registering are a little further down. Now, I doubt anyone would be confused by the extra fields, but do the login fields need to be on the registration page?
Hm, gobear used to be goboy? Who knew. . .
Hey, in the Profiles section, what do the check marks next to some of the names mean?
I can’t do anything about that. The login appears at the top of every page when you aren’t logged in.
at the top the columns are labelled with an icon. One is for “homepage” and the other is for “picture”
In the Link Directory, can you group all the SDMB-family sites in a category, rather than relegating them to the lower left of the page (“related sites”)?
… boy, this is fun… you other people out there, feel free to jump in so I don’t look like such a dink … :>
Oh, now I see it. Next to “559 profiles” - didn’t realize those were column headings, my apologies.
Yes, and kritter used to be krotchkritter.
How can I change this in my teemings profile opal?
You can’t. You can, however, make a new one.
Sigh. I was just thinking the other day, “I wish there was yet another thing I had to remember some password for…”
I think it looks really cool.
Now to go see if my name’s taken yet.
Speaking of…
I can’t remember my original ferschlugginah password!!! So, do I create a whole new “screech-owl” profile, or can I somehow prettypleasewithsugarontop get you to send me my old password? Else, it would look like there are two screech-owl-s on the board…
Thanks Opal. I’m registering now but I wanted to say thankyouverymuch before I forgot…old age, you know.
Trying to create a profile, it keeps telling me
What?
And yes I know it’s case sensitive, it isn’t working.
It errored for me, too. Lemme try some things…
Nope, still not working. I haven’t gotten an e-mail yet, maybe there’s a waiting period or it’s a two-step registration.
Which thing are you signing up for? The site, or the profiles area?
Is it affiliated with SDMB or the Chicago Reader?
No. It has never been, though it is mentioned in one of the books.
Trivia: the TMHP has been around since 1997
