The Amazing Race 2/15 "Don't Let a Cheese Hit Me"

Agreed. I thought that was a very nice and warm gesture by Phil. I even paused the video right after that and saw it again. Very cool Phil.

My question, did the local Swiss representative say, “Welcome to Switzerland!” when the first team arrived? I don’t remember hearing it. Or did he “sign” it?

I’m worried about the deaf son during roadblocks. Aren’t there usually a few that involves one racer trying to find something and having to talk to people to find out? I wonder if they’ve made adjustments. Does anyone know if it’s possible to switch racers after reading the roadblock clue?

Definitely rooting for Mike and Mel and the stuntmen (just how short are they?) And is it too much to hope for to run into Phil’s dad again?

It was a very good touch on Phil’s part to learn how to sign team placement. Kudos to him (or his advisor).

And much like other people, I was thrilled to see a foot race to the mat at the end – we need more genuine, you know, racing!

Haven’t read the whole thread, but damn, is this the cutest season ever? Mom & deaf son, short peoples, was that a gay dad and son? I spent half the time slightly choking up in a manly way. Phil signing totally broke my veneer.

Why do you think the cows wear bells?
