The Amazing Race is back!

Vyxsin is hawt – and I’m a girl. And apparently, so is Kynt – no, seriously, that’s a guy? Ronald is ADORABLE. Also, Rachel is my instant favorite, because her name is the same as mine! And for some reason, there is a soft spot in my heart for Kate & Pat, the married ministers, who both look like English teachers I had in high school.

Just jumping in to say Yay!
Amazing Race and the Eyebrow of Skepticism are back!

Ari is totally gay. So’s Kyynntt (or however he spells that…he and Vizxsynnn (whatever) are going to give some people apoplexy with the names (myself included)), but he’s not being terribly visually subtle about it…

What gave it away? Is it his bio? “Ari is catty and not afraid to speak his mind … Ari describes himself as mean, rude and hilarious and enjoys dancing and talking trash to people.” Or is it … The Headband?

I think it is too bad that Charla and Mirna were not added to this cast. They really enhance my enjoyment of the race.

He reminds me of someone but I can’t freakin’ think of who. It keeps creeping up on the edges of my memory and driving me crazy…never mind. I think it was actually someone in a porn movie. Weird.

Incidentally, rockle, on Pushing Daisies tonight they reattached a pigeon’s wing (well, attached a stuffed parrot’s wing to a pigeon) with a BeDazzler!

:: happy dance ::

Jeez, have you never heard of a spoiler box?!

OK, this has been commented on a bit already, but what is up with the spellings of some of these names? Kynt (I know that’s going to get a vowel shift before the end of the season)? Vyxsin? Hendekea? Staella?

:dubious:

That’s hardly a spoiler point.

I already rolled my eyes when I read their bio and it said that one of their challenges will be keeping up with their makeup routines when on the road. Give me a break.

And my response was hardly serious.

'Sall good! My sarcasm meter must be on the blink…I think the clients broke it.

I have little or no Gay-Dar, and I picked up on that right away.

Yes, it was definitely The Headband.

I missed this earlier, but I wanted to mention: the BeDazzler wasn’t even the best part of that episode; it was the totally awesomely gratutitous use of “Birdhouse in Your Soul.” They Might Be Giants, now and always, ROCK.
