OK - what is the plausible reason that justifies them rendering assistance to the rioters?
Today, all polls conducted entirely after Jan 6th (except for the always-outlier Rasmussen) are showing him at 38-39%. This includes a high-quality (A+) Marist poll for Jan 7. It takes a week or so for the pre-Jan 6th polls to drop from the average.

Good question, we dont know, but we KNOW they did. We have now two videos which shows that clearly.
My guess is that individual cops were sympathetic, or perhaps just afraid in the second video. Maybe the cops who opened the barricades though the rioters wouldnt get violent.
Full investigations need to be carried out to find out why.
Yes. These officers are identifiable. Each and every one of them needs to be called in to internal affairs for an extensive interview. What did they see, what did they do. Why did they take the actions they took. What orders did they receive and from whom did they receive them. Then the whole thing needs to be put together to frame a comprehensive story of what happened.
At the same time, an investigation needs to be conducted into the paper trail of orders. Who gave the orders to each level of law enforcement? Analyze the documentation.
Have these morons found one iota of proof that a single Antifa person was involved?

BUT, the Trumpers are now saying, if you watch the clips, you can see discrepancies. Therefore, this was just a peaceful rally and the awful liberal media is deliberately trying to make it something worse.

But I heard that they had let the protesters in to use the bathroom, which is consistent with them just letting their guard down because their biases blinded them to the risk, and it seems plausible.

No, never claimed to be Antifa, but one demonstration he was at- also had Antifa, so obviously… Same with BLM.
His story he was there to document the protest seems born out by his large camera.

Yes, those guys may have gotten out of the way to protect themselves, sure, like I said. But that doesnt explain the guys who moved the barricade and waved the rioters in.

But I think it was a rather textbook false equivalency. Even if any of us witnessed PH in realtime (having at least as much familiarity with how that played out as with last week’s fête), they’re kinda’, sorta’, more or less entirely different kinds of events.
You could have just as easily made a ‘9/11 <–> FAA’ comparison.
