The American Media Wakes Up - *My Gosh!* A Possibility of Nuclear War!

Yes, but then we’d have to see that lame-o Nuclear Man or whatever his name was. What a Marron!

Maroon!!! Maroon!!!

<----Moron!!!

My question is how many times in the last 6 months of the tensions between the nations have the UK, Canada and USA asked to recall their non essential diplomatic personnel?

There must be something more to this request than the usual simmering between these two nations.

Great Nations[sup]R[/sup] use the comings and goings of various diplomats as a way of signaling to other Great Nations[sup]R[/sup]–“We really mean it now! Look, we’re sending our diplomats away!”

Yeah, but the exchange rate right now seems to be about 500 Pakistani/India deaths = 1 American death, so I can’t see this being important to American news outlets until there’s a body count.

This is all about al-Qaida infiltrating Western Pakistan while Pakistan is somewhat forced to divert the troops to reinforce the India border.

Sabre-rattling.

What I don’t understand is why people assume that just because India and Pakistan HAVE nukes, that they will USE them. nuking a neighbor you share such a long border with is rather stupid.

Erek

The weirdest thing about Pakistan and India sharing a mutual disdain for one another is this - they both love cricket! Now anyone who knows anything about the organised sport can tell you that cricket is definitely NOT a fast paced game - far from it. It’s a game designed specifically to put both the spectators AND it’s particpators to sleep! Indeed, it’s possible to play a 5 day international ‘test match’ and STILL have a draw at the end of it!

My point is this - I’ve always said that any country which plays cricket would never go to war with another country which plays cricket because, well, it’s just not cricket - it’s supposedly a gentleman’s game - or so I thought!

Weird stuff!
