Two things:
First, I teared up bigtime when the dog was brought down from the sanctuary office for the first time for the elephant to touch it…that keening, relieved, hello, oh my god where have you been sound that the elephant uttered was readily identifiable as a form of emotional animal speech.
Second, the reporter kinda tripes up the place with that whole “America…the world…take a look, they can do it, what’s our excuse” little phrase…that was a rolleyes for sure. Gee guy, I don’t know, maybe because they are animals and we are people?
