The Apprentice -- 11/4

Okay, enough of so-called reality (which has been a sad disappointment to me this week) – let’s get back to the important stuff, like reality TV.

This week, Stacie and several other bootees are back (Jennifer? Which guys?). The promo shows them entering the boardroom – are they actively involved in the task or do they just show for the boardroom? Will they play along or do a passive-aggressive Omarosa fuckup deal? Do we have any clue at all what the task is?

Nothing much to say here – just wanted to get the thread started…

This week, from a listing I saw, the Apprentices are given $25,000 to renovate a house, and the firees join them, although I’m not sure in what capacity. The two guys are Bradford and John, the first two guys out.

I think it’s delightfully evil to bring back the first four booted; the potential for sabotage or just plain nastiness is certainly there. And in Stacie’s case, after the way she got railroaded and labeled insane, I’d say just about anything she does to them is deserved.

Not to nitpick, Mama (she says as she nitpicks), but I think it’s Baldford and Rob, the guy who got booted for not doing much of anything on the toy task.

I dunno what capacity the previous bootees will take in this task, but that clip they keep showing of Ivanna waving her finger in Stacie’s face (wtf is it with them and waving their damn fingers in her face, anyway?) and Stacie calling her a liar appeared to take place in the suite kitchen. That implies to me that the firees will be living with the viable candidates for at least a short while.

Is the twist only that the first four bootees come back to help with the task? Or will there be more to it? (As one possibility, fire two people and un-fire someone.)

That’s right, I’d forgotten about the glimpse of the Ivana-Stacie confrontation. Dang, this should be good!

Scuba_Ben – I’m guessing they won’t bring any of them back into the actual play of the game – once The Donald has fired someone, there’s no point in “rehiring” him or her – but I’m having a hard time coming up with a way of using the bootees that makes sense in the context of the game.

Of course, if I could come up with a scenario, I’d be Mark Burnett, or at least his competition, and I’d be putting on my own reality shows and making bajillions of dollars and have people all over the world following my handiwork and discussing it on message boards and …

Where was I?

On the radio this morning they said the new people were brought in to help with the task and ar not being re-introduced into the game as contestants.

It will be fun to see if the recently undead contestants try to sabotage a PM that played a heavy role in getting them fired. It’s not a bad lesson actually. In the real world, it’s the idea that you never really want to piss someone off too much, because you never know when they may be on the other side of a potential partnership.

That saidy, I think it’s time another woman goes. Sandy has been about as visible as a monkey at a math tournament so I can’t imagine she magically morphs into a good leader. But, I also think Kelly will lead the team in light of her managerial shrinkage so they will win.

The other team will lose (not a clue who PM will be) but I think the axe finally falls on Ivana. She actually treads very close to Stacy territory (the Hobbit one, not the Sideshow Bob hair one) in terms of assigning blame elsewhere and not doing a heck of a whole lot of valuable work. So, she goes home.

According to the fantasyteevee website, next week’s episode involves opening a bridal salon – it would be nice if Sandy were around for that, since that is, apparently, the only freakin’ thing she knows anything about.

From here:

Less visible, I’d say.

The first guy out was Rob, back in the first week.

I about fell off my chair with laughter when I saw them all wearing those hard hats. Don’t want any Omarosa head injuries this year!

Aaaah! Plaster!

I love Jen C so far. She’s just having way too much fun. And her triple-snap of Ivana was beautiful.

And Sandy… Poor, dear Sandy.

“It occurred to me that real estate is very near and dear to Mr. Trump’s heart…”

Damn. Can’t pull the wool over that girl’s eyes!

Could there be a more obvious winner?

Sandy is gorgeous. I can’t remember if I’ve ever seen her on screen before!

In other news, I just realized there’s a “Post Reply” button on the left, so I don’t have to hit the Reply with Quote button and erase the quote every time… :smack:

I have a feeling that we may have seen the last of Raj.

Looks like Ivana might bite it! But I want Raj to go…
Go Jenn Go! Kick some booty!

Damn, can you believe freakin’ Ivana? Why go after Stacie like that, other than the fact that she’s a total freakin’ bitch?

Raj, you dumbass!

Trump just handed you a pass by letting you bring in disloyal what’s-his-face, and you turned it down! He offered twice! Could he have made his disdain any more obvious?

Ivana, I hope you’re going.

I think Chris just dodged the bullet.
