The Arizona recount--reactions?

Some grudging acknowledgement that they are becoming “outnumbered” is beginning to creep into Trump-friendly social media. But that appears to be sending some of them into even darker fantasies – something drastic has to be done to stop the Marxist takeover of the country.

Using persuasion and democracy, or modifying their positions, does not seem to be on the table. The most obvious example of this is the Texas secessionist movement, which increasingly feels the need to lock in power before the liberals gain control democratically.

I’m sure Plan A is still trying to diminish the numbers of actual votes coming in, which includes the follow up procedure of limiting the actual votes that are counted.

Given these results I think that they may have been true believers and didn’t see any reason to put the fix in. They thought that if they fully investigated the ballots, throwing out those with bamboo fibers or lacking the secret government watermark, and did it by hand rather than relying on hacked counting machines the results would clearly show the obvious fraud and prove that Trump won. They just needed to document everything so that there could be no question that their findings were legit.

However when then got the final totals at the end and realized that no, they were wrong and reality was what they said it was, they spent a couple of weeks pretending to have Covid while they looked to see whether they could fix the books. But given that everything that they had done was going to be subpoenaed by Congress, and that altering the data would require not just altering the final count, but all of the sub-counts leading to that final count they decided that they were better off playing it straight and not spending the next few years in club Fed.

You are misremembereing what went down in 2000. The Democrats weren’t saying they that they for sure won, just that since the count was well within the margin or error it should be double checked. They might win the recount, they might lose, who knew, but we should find out. The supreme court knocked this down, saying we like the current results since our guy won, stop doing anything that might call them into question.

Yup, from the site that Paul from Saudi linked to.

The Military
It is my view that because civilian entities will in the end, prove unwilling or unable to make things right, at some point, the military will have little choice but to intervene. I won’t speculate as to the reason for the intervention other than to say it might be predicated on evidence that a foreign government hijacked our election and installed its own puppet as our commander in chief.

I won’t speculate on the reason, except for right now when I do. What an idiot.

Far more similar than anything you’ve tried to argue is that when Republicans thought they might lose, they immediately went to violence.

Focusing on “staggeringly ignorant” is fun and all, but I suspect “intentionally misleading” is much closer to the truth. The explanation for the mail in ballots being sent to different addresses is so straightforward that they explained it completely in just a few paragraphs.

I have a hard time believing that these people have spent months working on an audit of the election, but still haven’t quite figured out the relatively simple concept of “Voters sent in their new addresses, oh, and some of them are deployed members of the military.”

How many times do you keep pushing the elevator button before you give up and take the stairs?

That one is particularly ignorant given that Trump voted in his home state of Florida while temporarily residing in Washington DC…

I think you misunderstand what they are alleging, because they are not stupid enough to to actually say it out loud.

They believe that all, or nearly all, of the “double-counted” votes were intentionally double-counted because they were Biden votes. Or that the “temporary address” votes were all Biden votes because they were filled out by campaign lackeys. Or pick your “suspect ballot” poison - they believe that Democrats are literally generating massive numbers of fake votes to change the outcomes of elections that are not, by historical standards, particularly close.

The fact that Maricopa County elections are run by Republicans doesn’t matter. The fact that a conspiracy of this magnitude is impossible to comprehend is irrelevant. This is what they believe, at the end of the day. The Democratic Party has come up with a system to create, at will, whatever number of ballots they need to win. So they stop the counting in big cities, generate the ballots, and then count them.

And they will use this belief (or the pretending of this belief) to disenfranchise as many voters as they have to in order to regain power.

The following is from today’s Votemaster: https://www.electoral-vote.com/

" J.H. in Boston, MA, writes : A lot of outfits, including E-V.com, wrote that the Arizona audit report is out and that it contains no evidence of fraud, and that its count increases the win margin of win for Biden. As you might expect, MAGA world is giving this a bit of a different spin. In fact, the report shows tens of thousands of votes whose addresses can’t be verified, or who appear to have voted in multiple counties, or exhibit various other possible bookkeeping errors which are taken as suggestive of fraud. Enough to swing the state for Trump.

They also claim to have video showing people deleting votes from the voting machines, and proving that the machines were connected to the Internet, contrary to the claims of the mainstream election staff.

The state Senate has referred the matter to the AG Mark Brnovich (R), who has promised to prosecute. And state Sen. Wendy Rogers (R) has called for a vote to decertify the election in Arizona, and released a letter signed by dozens of state legislators from across the country calling for forensic audits followed by decertification in all 50 states."

So it is apparently not yet over. I cannot imagine what decertification would mean at this date.

I as well. Given that republicans are completely in fantasy land I fully expected a fantasy-based outcome. But Cyber Ninjas probably figured it was sufficient to cash the check and move on to the next grift, and avoid the nasty courtroom stuff.
