The Ark of Covenant

Did you know that for 2,500 years the fate of the Ark met absolute indifference?
It was God’ s will (see Jeremiah 3:16), but only until our days in which we see predicted miracles being realized in front of our eyes.

Welcome to the Straight Dope Message Boards, Edoardo Recanati, we’re glad you found us. For future ref, when one starts a thread, it’s helpful to other readers to provide a link to the column/staff report in question. Saves searching time and helps keep us on the same page. In this case, I assume, you’re referring to:

No biggie, you’ll know for next time.

More to the point, your link is to your personal website touting your personal theories. We don’t allow that, it reeks of spam. Hence, I’m shutting down the link. Normally, such action would result in the thread being disappeared, but I’m going to leave it for a while and see what happens.

After 2500 years, the fate of essentially everything was, is, & will be met with indifference.

Have you looked behind the couch?

Not behind - under the cushions and down in the back fold. I once discovered that my couch had a back crease so deep that I could stick my arm in up to my elbow. When I checked it out thouroughly, I found two pairs of socks, a hair brush, and a complete set of cold chisels.

But no Ark? Maybe it’s in the love seat.

I’ve seen the Russian Ark. Extremely impressive.
