bobkitty: Now I’m wondering what, if any, procedures the police force does happen to have for dispatching a wounded animal. I mean, the cop is certainly not a veterinarian, so perhaps there is–and it pains me to say this–a law that actuall prevents the cops from putting the dog down after the first volley of shots negated the threat from the dog.
That is some fantastic irony, right there.
It doesn’t help that this guy is the Chief of police.
I was talking to a friend at work who hadn’t heard about this incident. He’s a big dog lover. Just as I was finishing he volunteered.
“That guy should blame himself because he got his dog shot to death”
