The Astronaut's Wife

Did anyone see this movie? Did anyone enjoy it?

I watched it the other day and I must say, I thought it was pretty good. It wasn’t particularly exciting, and the story was kind of cliched, but it was amazing to look at. The set design was spectacular. The camera work was very creative.

Also, in my opinion, Johnny Depp looks better in this movie than in any other movie he is in.

Hm. That movie is in my list of top 5 worst movies ever. I thought it was boring and poorly directed. And the “climax” was predictable and cheesy in a '70’s B-movie kind of way.

Different strokes.

I enjoyed it quite a bit.

Johnny Depp - good

Charlize Theron - good

Steamy sex scene - good

Alien subtext - good
What’s not to like?

The ridiculous plot.

Great acting, great directing, great scoring, great key gripping.

Stupid plot.

I liked it but **The Hidden ** is still my top pick for alien-inhabiting-a-series-of-humans movies.

Didn’t care for it. There’s only so much cinematic “dread” I can put up with before my patience wears thin.

'kay, you got me there. But, but, it’s Johnny Depp!

Yeah, very sexy. But I thought her name was Charlize.

I’ve forgotten most of the film but remember that Charlize looked DAMN nice with the short blonde hair!

Two really hot leads.

Johnny doing that slow southern drawl and all military.

Drool.
