Sixty dogs in a year? Not anymore. Years ago my doctor advised against nitrited meats, and I swore off baloney and most hot dogs. I had four over the Fourth of July holidaty, but that’s a rarity – and mainly because I made 'em up to stretch the food at the barbecue and didn’t want them to go to waste.
I’d get a kick out of sitting down with this guy and eating one, just one, hot dog.
I doubt I eat 60 in a year. Maybe 30? That makes me subnormal, I guess. But I do like them, and for ease of preparation, they’re right up there with toast and boiled eggs.
I can eat bratwursts faster than you can cook 'em.
Slip a hot dog in there and I will vomit. Every time. Haven’t eaten a dog in 10 years.
Hot dogs are great! I like the natural casing ones-that snap as you bite into them! Question: can you buy DANISH hotdogs ( rustred polser) in the USA? They are great!
I eat fewer than ten hot dogs a year. But I like the charcuterie, and if you include turkey polish sausage, chorizo and pepperoni sticks I’m probably around 80.
If you want the SD on HDs, why not ask the National Hot Dog Coucil?
