The bad, bad, bad Wrex..par-tay!

Have you ever tried this with legs?
Hmmm, drumstick casserole, imma bookmark this thread if I can figure it out and try this in the next couple weeks.

Beck, you softy! I wouldn’t be too worked up over the broken light itself, not much to be done there. But due to upbringing and other childhood circumstances I have a “no rough/drunk/horseplay in the house” rule that is one of the Rules That Shall Not Be Violated, EVER!(it’s probably unhealthy how important it is to me)
Games would be taken, window passes only in case of emergency, fun revoked, strict rations of liver and onions for all for at least a day!

@DorkVader, I haz the rulez.

As Son put it, “sometimes shit just happens, Ma.”
BigWrek ain’t here. I plan on finding particularly egregious job for Son to do when its very hot and humid outside. Something smelly. Pay-back is hell, you know.

Oh. And, I can see that recipe working with legs as well.

Son-of-Wrek should be informed that it’s his job to find a replacement for the broken light.

If nothing else, that should tie him up on Ebay for a few days…

Hey, Beck! Speaking of cats… How did it go with the 3 kittens you were taking care of?

Oh, the bay-bays. @panache45, they are the sweetist little terrorists ever.
All orange with blue eyes (now)
Hungry is their name and the noise they make when the bottles comes out would wake the dead. It alarms the Siamese and the dogs start barking. All hell breaks loose.
They havn’t gotten the strength yet to run around the house. We are still contained in a wire crate in the mud room.
The Grandwrex are ‘helping’ me with them. I hope to instill a fostering mind-set in their little hearts. We’ll see.

@The_Vorlon, the lights are vintage from a school that was being torn down.
I bought 4 when I bid on them. Bear, the cat broke one last year. And I replaced it with the last one.
They’re not replaceable.

I think since the middle light was broken I might just put an recessed light up there or a fan maybe.

At the end of the day,
It’s just stuff. I’ll live through the heartbreak.

I stayed up til everyone was down or gone. No broken items.
I think the raging party is over.

Oh, the first times I did such things were with chicken parts. However, my wife has a thing about bones, so all of a sudden we got more and more and more boneless skinless chicken breasts…

Hey Beck, was that a ceiling light that was broken? Or a lamp? Trying to understand how the kids fit into this calamity.

The virus just keeps getting worse in Arkansas. Well, it’s everywhere.

Have you thought about school next month? The Governor seems determined to restart them. I’m glad that I don’t have grandkids to worry about. Not sure I’d want them back in school yet.

Hi, @aceplace57,
I was wondering about you. Haven’t seen you posting much.
The light is/was a hanging pendant light hanging over my kitchen island. I have come up with, I think, a genius fix. I’m gonna design and make a pot rack. I’m thinking of using metal pipe fittings and painting them black. Yep. I’m a genius.:grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

As far as school, mid- Daughter and DIL have decided to homeschool this school year. I will help them where I can.

Stay safe, up there, Acey.
