I like the Globe, and hack comics are always fun, but I found their “Tea Partier” version of famous comics to be heavy handed, and as funny as a sledgehammer:

Some were definitely funnier than others. The Charlie Brown one made me laugh, for some reason.
I expected the punch line to be the same as the original.
Mark Trail cracked me up.
Peanuts was okay; Garfield was good. The rest. Eh.
I liked the Hagar the Horrible one - oh so true - and the Blondie one also.
Blondie and Ziggy made me laugh. I get the feeling they were meant to be sledgehammer subtle, though.
Me too. Best of the lot, for just that reason.
I’m probably not the neutral opinion on these, since I have a very low opinion of the Tea Party movement in general.

Eh, you can be polemic, and you can be funny. Optimize for one, though, and you’re necessarily not optimizing for the other
