In high school I was definitely a blend of John Bender (the burn out) and Brian Johnson (the nerd).
How did the rest of you fair in high school, on a Breakfast Club scale?
60% Allison, 40% Brian
Not a jock, not a flake, not a princess, not a criminal, not really a nerd, but closer to that than any of the others. So I’d have to say 50% Brian, 50% Other.
Basket case/burnout, in wildly fluctuating ratios depending on time of day.
Nerd/Jock though it was hockey, soccer and swimming and not wrestling.
Me too, and football/track instead of wrestling.
I was mostly an Allison with aspirations of being a Claire sometimes but usually ended up tapping into my John Bender tendencies.
80% Allison , 20% Claire - I had a major girl crush on Molly Ringwald and I was also red-headed so the 20% was mostly wishful thinking.

I never thought of applying percentages, so let me revisit my OP and state:
Brian (Nerd) - 55%
Bender (Burn out) - 25%
Andy (Jock) - 20%
Close enough.
I was the guy who, instead of getting a new boy/girlfriend, got the “reward” of getting to do everyone else’s homework for them.
It’s not too surprising that I hated that movie.
Andy = 60%
Brian = 40%
Basically I was a jock with excellent grades.
I wasn’t there. I am just that ‘unique’

I was bender with a better family and Brian with worse grades.
80% Brian, 27% Allison, 6% Andy, -13% Claire,
0% Bender, although a lot of my friends WERE 90%+ Bender.

I’m half Bender and Half Brian. I am a nerd but I am not afraid to fight. In junior high I had plenty and I kept score. It’s pretty much even win/lose.
I was the Rob Lowe character. But he wasn’t in The Breakfast Club cause he was too busy being cool in Youngblood.
120% Brian, right down to would have been suicidal over an F. (TBH, I would have been suicidal over a C.) I was a barrel of premed laughs.
Closest would have been Andy - I was a jock, but my parents weren’t psychotic and I never bullied anyone. I’ll cop to 5% Claire. I suppose I was popular - I had a circle of friends and I guess people I didn’t know knew who I was by virtue of being on all the teams, but I hope to fuck I wasn’t a snob; I don’t think I was. I had about a 33% Bender streak in me too, but I never got in any real trouble either.

was about 70% Bender, I didn’t do a lot of drugs but I smoked cigarettes and drank a lot, wore a leather jacket, steel toe boots, had long hair, liked hard rock/metal, played guitar, etc… My Dad was (is) an abusive alcoholic, as well.
20% Andy - I was fairly athletic and played hockey, football, baseball, and was a swimmer, at least until girls, booze and partying took over.
10% - Brian - I had pretty good marks overall, especially math and science. I loved computers and video games. I read fantasy books and played D&D.
