With all the hubbub about the trouble the Bush sisters are having with the law, and realizing that Secret Service orders are to keep an arms length, let the girls have as normal a life as possible, I still have some questions:
What about sex? What if Osama Bin-Laden sent a secret suicide agent to kill one of the girls by seducing them then getting them into a closed room where the agents were sitting outside? I imagine the SS does a thorough background check on ANYONE the ladies come in contact with, but what complications are there for any dudes that want to try and pick up the girls?
The agents were told to back off even if arrested. But what if some cop started beating one of the girls, or pulls a gun on her? What then? Or what if some dangerous drug dealer approaches them?
What if some frat boy decides he wants to do the Bush family in by getting one of the girls to drink themselves to death, ot to take dangerous drugs. Can the Secret Service step in make them stop at that point?
Do the agents hang out in their dorm hall? Go to their parties? Sit in the same bars? Or do they hang outside?
Any other info on the complications that arise from this sort of thing would be appreciated!
What fantasy world are you living in? Jenna Bush is not the first high profile person’s offspring to go to college. We had a former vice presidents of the US’s kid at my college and other than the occasion “hey that’s him”, no one gave a shit. The Secret Service showed up the first day or so to check stuff out, then they left, or maintained a REALLY low profile.
For the most part, people just don’t up and decide to threaten the presidents daughter. Most college kids are pretty smart and have enough sense to not mess with someone who has Secret Service protection.
I would imagine the Secret Service agents would act like bodyguards are supposed to and protect the girls. I’m having trouble picturing a cop that stupid. Being indicted for assault would be bad enough without having the President of the United States pissed off at you, personally.

No reason to get nasty, lady. I’m just asking some hypothetical questions here.
There’s a big difference between being the offspring of a guy whose job is to attend state funerals and two women who have suddenly undertaken a very high profile. There are also stories that some of the people on their campus want to do things to publicly discredit them as well.

I understand and respect that, and whatever it is that the Secret Service does, they do it well. But in this age where terrorism on American soil is a growing threat, I am still suprised that that some nutjob doesn’t try and do something stupid, and I’m still curious as to what uncomfortable situations the Secret Service does encounter and what their protocol is for handling it.
