I was going to ask how they did it too. That is a good gorilla suit, obviously the art of gorilla-suit design has progressed since I last bought one.

Nice ad. The mashups are a mixed bag.

Just a point - I think some people are assuming this is a one-off joke, the payoff of which is that the gorilla is playing the drums. I argue that this is not so: there’s no attempt the conceal the drumkit. It’s just funny all round, IMO - most of the humor is in the gorilla’s mental and physical preparation, and the passion with which he plays.

I agree 100%. The humour and enjoyment of the thing comes from what you describe.

after that it’s just the intensitity that he goes about playing it. I love this ad.
