Estee Lauder has passed away.
CNN is reporting her age as 97. The birthday list we have lists her DOB as 1-July-1910 (est). A websearch turned up a reference to 1-July-1908.

Indeed, Norris McWhirter passed away on April 19 at the age of 78. Norris was involved in a rather significant record himself, as he was the timekeeper when Roger Bannister became the first man to officially run a mile in under four minutes.
