The Celebrity Death Pool 2007

And my first correct pick (sort of)–she was on my cherry-popper list for 2008!

Losing your virginity prematurely feels weird.

Anyone else batting .000 still?

Yep. sigh

And without the points, it’s like having your first sex without the orgasm. Not too uncommon, if it makes you feel any better.

Dammit.

I’m still 0 for 13.

I’m really afraid Mel Brooks will die soon. I don’t want him to die… ever. :frowning:

He can’t die. Not until he’s mounted Spaceballs: The Stage Musical on Broadway

No, no, no. History of the World, Pt. 2: Jews In Space.
Or is it Part 3? I can’t breathe in this thing!

Silly question. .000 for 3 years now. And I am confident in my ability to continue my streak next year.

I still think if we were allowed to list each other we would become immortal.

78 of 192 players are still without score.

Dan Fogelberg will be singing that *Same Old Lang Syne * with backup from Ray Charles and Marvin Gaye this New Year’s.

(Or Fogulburp, as Opus put it.)

Holy crap I slipped one under the wire! (I did pick him didn’t I?)

I picked him, too, and just had to update my 2008 list.

Finally! I’m part of an actual group!

This year I got one in January and now one in December. If only I could learn how to fill up the other 10 months I could win a major award.

I know it’s ten months out of date and no one picked her anyway, but David Edding’s wife and co-writer Leigh died in February. Now I know the start date of the Great Fantasy Author Die-Off of 2007.

That is strange. I usually check the SFWA website from time to time and they always have obits for SF and Fantasy writers. Even ones I never heard of. Not one mention of this on there. But they did have an aritlce about David Eddings burning his office down. Weird.
