The Celebrity Death Pool 2008

[QUOTE=Captain Lance Murdoch]
Serial killer Daniel Lee Siebert died April 22nd at the age of 53. He was on death row, but died of natural causes. I was too distraught with anguish to write about it until now. Collecting the points will somehow help me get over my sense of loss.

While the good Captain moves into second place (supplanting me), he is not really threatening RQ because there was just one other person who also had Daniel Lee Siebert…

Oooooh, no fair!
I have two people in Persisent Vegitative State and a couple of TOP Terrorists on my list and I HAVE NOTHING. It’s not like I have Abe Vigoda, Keith Richards and Stephen Hawkings. I mean, COME ON!!!111!!

I am not bitter at all. not one freakin’ bit.

On a less jaundiced and slightly more paranoid note, I bet Osama Bin Laden’s corpse will be trotted out just before Bush leaves office. Mark my words.

[del]'bout damn time, too! He’s been on my list for years![/del]

I am sorry for his family’s loss.

Dang it! I’ve had Mondavi on my list for years. Until this year, when I bumped him to my list of alternates. :frowning:

I’m on the polar opposite side of Teddy Kennedy politically, and I hope this news does not lead to a future announcement here. God bless him & bring him through. On Jan 1, 2007, I had a very mild stroke- I was OK later that week, but I know how scary even the mildest one can be.

Now, if Senator Kennedy wants to step down because of this, that would be fine, but I certainly wish him the best in this situation.

I have ole Teddy boy on my list, but apparently he is gonna live…

Will Elder has died at the age of 86.

You were the first one I thought of when I heard the news about Ted.

Amazingly enough, I was not dancing through the office screaming “Die Ted Die.” I lived in Boston during the Kennedy heyday, and the idea of Teddy dying actually made me kind of sad.

There’s only three Kennedys of his generation alive–Teddy and sisters Jean Smith and Eunice Schiver.

Sen. Ted Kennedy has malignant brain tumor

I think that anyone in the Kennedy clan is a better than average pick. But Ted’s just moved into the low hangin’ fruit category.

adjusts 2009 prospects list

Hang in there Ted.

ETA “Hang in there” may have been a poor choice of words in this particular thread. But you know what I mean, right?

I have a Bush Deathpool for two years and nothing happens to any of them.

I switch to the Kennedys and oh, shit!

That’s what happens when you choose the Undead.

Dang, according to that link, you came very close to losing your points.

There appear to be a few victims’ family members that are dissappointed that he wasn’t executed. I’m glad that you got so many points out of it, though.
