Lead singer of The Four Tops, Levi Stubbs is dead at 72.

:frowning: :frowning: :frowning:

If you wanna be profound,
if you really gotta justify,
take a breath and look around,
a lot of folks deserve to die!

I hope his corpse is well dressed.

Dang it, he was at the top of my short list for next year. Why yes, I AM working on next year’s list already.

Mine’s already done! :stuck_out_tongue:

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the death of the great Rudy Ray Moore.

A wake in the form of a Dolemite marathon will be held at many homes this evening.

So far, theoretically, I could just submit my list for this year all over again.

Been doing that for 4 years now. Welcome to the club.

Yes, because even the tiniest chance of Nancy Pelosi ascending to the Oval Office, even for only a month or two, is anathema to that administration.

Except that any vice-president has to be approved by congress. It is doubtful they could get it done before the inauguration.

Less politics, more death.

From my CelebrityDeathBeeper update:

Frank “Lefty” Rosenthal, gambling ‘expert’

Alexi Cherepanov, very young hockey player

Neal Hefti, TV theme song writer

Frankie Venom, lead singer of Teenage Head

Edie Adams

Jack Narz, game show host

Dee Dee Warwick, soul singer

TMZ is reporting that the Late Bob Hope’s wife Delores, who is 99, has been rushed to Cedar Sinai.

On a side note, she and Bob were married 69 years. 69 years.

Dolemite has gone to fight crackers in the afterlife

“Bitch are you fo’ ree-yal?”

:frowning:
Dammit, the world is less pimptastic without him.

I just saw over in Cafe Society that author Tony Hillerman has died.

Shoot, I liked his Navajo mysteries.

Reporting in to say, with just over two months left in 2008, my list of immortals is still goin’ strong!

I’m considering charging money to put someone on my list.

And the minute you take them off your list, they die.

We’ve gone from Small Business to Extortion. Oh my, the price just went up.
