The Celebrity Death Pool 2010

Did we Cover what happens if Zsa Zsa buys it right at Midnight on new year’s eve? [Well you know what I mean, Midnight of 1/1/11]

as long as it’s before 00:00:01 1/1/11, it’s a 2010 death.

There is a step after Addict - not sure what to call it, but it’s the ability to quote the rules by heart. I’m almost there.

I have her in another pool that I am in. And I have an acquaintance who is connected with her and who took me to a Revival that she was singing at. So, I’m just going to have to call my acquaintance and see if I can get some details.

Oh, her father was the Reverand C.L. Franklin.

Word out of Chicago is that Ron Santo, former Cubs third baseman, has died at the age of 70. :frowning: Here is the link: http://www.chicagobreakingnews.com/2010/12/cubs-legend-ron-santo-dead-at-70.html

Five people had him, the most notable being GIGObuster who rises three spots to fifth place.

Between Aretha’s weight issues and past problem paying taxes and shopping bills, it could be anything.

Stalker?

I briefly flirted with putting him on my list, but decided I’d be far too saddened by the news to enjoy the points.

I don’t regret it. My cherry remains intact, but I wouldn’t have wanted Ronnie to be the one to pop it. That, of course, is why I’ll never win this game.

RIP, good ol’ #10. :frowning:

Darn, this was in the category of “sorry to see him/her go”. For the 2011 list I’m trying to get more deserving guys.

Think I have had Ron Santo on my list every year since 2002. Guess even a stopped clock is correct twice a day.

Still no points for me, second consecutive year.

I am the Guardian of Life! (as long as I predict your death, anyway).

Aren’t you some sort of lawyer? Maybe you should go into estate planning, offering an optional (and highly priced) service of conferring immortality in lieu of all that paperwork.

Cool! I’m one of 76 batting 0!

amarone, if you have me still listed as Juliana, please change it on your list.

ETA: Wait. I got one? When? WHO?

Name changed. You got Dennis Hopper.

Whoa. Thanks! (I think…)

Elain Kaufman, who founded NYC’s Elaine’s Restaurant (once known as the place Where Woody Allen played clarinet every Monday night) and also managed to lose over 100 pounds and keep them off, dead at 81.

I guess she’s losing even more weight now. Good for her!

“Dandy” Don Meredith, Dallas Cowboys quarterback and Monday Night Football sportscaster, at 72.

Turn out the lights.

Elizabeth Edwards hears the approach of the Grim Reaper.
