There was a Jackson Five cartoon show. Don’t know if any of the Jacksons actually had anything to do with it.
Their music was used, and occasional concert footage was blended with animation during montage sequences, but other performers supplied the dialogue for the cartoon versions of the Jacksons.
The Jackson Five did have a variety show on TV back in the seventies. It’s mentioned on their wikipedia page, about halfway down.
Congrats to you!!!11!!!
We hate you!!! But in a nice, dead way.
Awww. I like it that your pick was a genuine tribute from a fan, rather than a cynical assessment of his chances. Your points are well deserved.
Yes, you loved him buy you voted for his death. That makes it all the sweeter – by Death Pool standards, it doesn’t get any better.
Two of the USA’s oldest women died Sunday. Mary Josephine Ray, who had been the oldest person in the country, was 114. Daisey Bailey, a relative youngster, officially passed on at 113, although her family claimed she was born in 1895.
Merlin Olsen for 31 points.
A sad day in the Joe Don Baker household.
He had one of those voices that could whisper in to my ear anytime. I’m shocked that article doesn’t list LHotP or FTD.
Bastages.
Little Box In The Prairie
Thank you Merlin, for bringing me to 63 points
Four people had him, including The Vorlon who is the first person to have three “hits”.
Things do seem to be picking up. Maybe one of these days several of the frightfully old basket cases on my list will stop being vegetables and start pushing up the daisies, the lazy swine. Certainly looking at a “younger” crowd for 2011.
wouldn’t it be under the prairie?
‘In’, rather than ‘on’.
Too bad this isn’t SNL Pool 2010 :

George Stolzfus, Christian Peacemaker and man with Biblical beard dies of heart attack. http://www.commondreams.org/headline/2010/03/12 69 years old, thought he was pushing 80. It’s amazing what an OT beard can do for a fellow.
Damn. You’d think with my mostly-NFL-linemen team I’d have him. Nope.
Kissinger sick in South Korea, but “doing better.” How can they tell?
