The Celebrity Death Pool 2011

Thanks for your efforts amarone!

Mmm, besides staying in the top ten last year I got the Opening kickoff, the Final Hours and the Robbing the Cradle trophies. It was a Good ghoulish year.

Thanks so very much for managing this and allowing us to have so much fun, amarone!

Here’s hoping 2012 is a banner year for Death!

Congratulations, Critical Mass! Whoo-hoo!

streamers, confetti, air horns

It makes me sad that Critical Mass is not playing in 2012.:frowning:

Thanks, amarone, and congratulations to you for your third place finish.

Place 33 and Final Hours award in my first year - not bad but room for improvement.
Was a lot of fun playing, thanks Amarone for hosting and grats to Critical Mass for the victory.

W00t! W00t! I cracked the top 50!

:flings confetti:

Thanks, amarone, for running the 2011 DP.

Fourteenth.

Fourth place. In my rookie year. I’m a bit stunned, to tell you the truth. I’d like to thank Liz, Harmon, Osama, Amy, and Kim for making it all possible! And congratulations to Critical Mass! I’m sorry to hear that you are not playing this year, but a bit relieved, since it means perhaps I actually have a chance…

Don Mueller, whose single was part of the rally that culminated in Bobby Thomson’s “Shot Heard 'Round the World” three-run homer that gave the New York Giants the 1951 National League pennant, died on December 28 at the age of 84. Although the Giants lost the World Series that year, they captured the Fall Classic in 1954, capping a season in which Mueller led the majors with 212 hits.

w00t! 7th place! of the people that got 0 right :smack:

Thanks for running this, amarone.

A top 10 finish, shares of both the “Robbing the Cradle” and “Final Hours” awards, and top points scorer for the month of May - I consider that a great year!

Unfortunately, I totally forgot about this year’s death pool :smack::smack::smack:

Tied for 50th place, my best finish ever! Wow, that ain’t a lot to brag about is it?

Thanks for all your hard work amarone.

Got bumped out of the Top 10 with 2 weeks to go and finished 15th. But given that I scored all of zero points in 2010, my rookie year, I can’t complain too loudly. And now I have a goal to beat for this year!

I can’t beat Swampy in the feuds but I can beat him in the death pool.

Solo 45th woot woot!

I placed 65th, with a score of 65. I was born in 1965. There are precisely 65 crumbs of butter-rum muffin on my desk right now.

This all has to mean something!

Big ol’ zero.

The only points I got this year were for Gerry Rafferty, who I stole off someone else’s list just before the game began.

amarone, any chance I can get a copy of the 2011 spreadsheet?

I finished tied for last, with a big, fat zero!
