Cancer can takes years to fully form. Being diagnosed and being deathly ill are two different things entirely.
Chicken tycoon Donald J. Tyson, dead at 80.
Found of Tyson Chicken.
Yeah, I know that having a deaths with a name ending in 'Son is going to be a common thing this year. Just why can’t they be MY 'Sons?
Rub it in why don’t you!
Oh. Simulpost you say?
… Well ok, but only cause you are a mod. ![]()
Not a MOD, Fear Itself is a MOP.
Er Moperador.
Whatever. :smack:
Boo Hiss!
Yes! I kept second guessing myself that I should have added her to my 2011 list.
I mean … I’m glad to hear that Ms Franklin is feeling better.
Gary Mason, British Boxing Champ, killed in bike accident. Doubt anyone has him, but felt compelled to mention him to distress Meeko.
You are truly evil Uncle Goat. I like that.
I recall Swayze sounding just like Franklin a couple years ago. It didn’t work out to well for him. Pancreatic cancer is a nasty nasty thing, which usually makes it a good DP choice.
Aretha just says “the problem has been resolved”. Maybe she meant her problem with accepting immanent death.
It’s like celebrities are taunting us now.
Beastie Boys rapper Adam Yauch has been given the all-clear in his cancer battle
When Stephen Hawkin gets up and walks, then we can consider they are onto us.
Chin up, Death Poolers! Baseball like Jazz, continues to provide a rich crop of corpses.
I wish that story broke before NYE.
Well At least I’m not the only one in distress.
Crazed gun man kills congresswoman and 6 others in Arizona. Gabrielle Giffords dead at 40. Can’t wait for the NRA to tell us this was all her fault for being a Democrat.
CNN says Giffords is in surgery, and every news report is confused about whether anyone was killed at all. It’s not looking good, though. A shot to the head is not the kind of thing people survive without major problems.
Please refrain from political commentary in this forum. There’s a Pit thread if you’d like to participate in that.

Giffords appears to be upgraded from “dead” to “seriously injured” with a bullet wound through the brain. We’ll see what tomorrow brings.
Yes, yes. Jokes and snide remarks about the dead and the dying are presumably okay, but I will try in the future not to add any emotional, heat of the moment comments, least I offend someone.
