I’m assuming the rules are as before: all dates and times (including day and time of death) will be marked according to US Central Time, no matter where the death takes place.

Is that the rule? In 2005 the rule was as follows:

However, if Dick Clark (or anyone else) dies after midnight in whatever time zone he or she is in, it’s good for 2005.

As far as I know, that rule was never changed.
