The Celebrity Death Pool 2012

Where’s Hugo?

Maybe Robin Gibb woke up so Hugo Chavez could disappear…

Well I have both so I’m hoping for a double play.

Helena, MT radio personality Susan Clark passed away on April 11.

CAMJAY77, what was her age? The articles I’ve seen don’t have a birthdate.

Okay, this article says she was 57, so that’s 43 points for three posters.

You should had asked me first, I had the original article and her on the list, **CAMJAY77 **just copied several of my choices :stuck_out_tongue:

Curses! Foiled again!

She was 1 of the 2 picks I made that were gotten from others here. Had no notes on them going in. I can’t find it now, but I Think I had her year of birth as 1955. Whatever.
Ponts is points

grumble, grumble, grumble…he must be attending that Class for Death Pool Trolling being taught by Zsa Zsa Gabor and Ariel Sharon

I checked, and you two have/had seven choices in common. Is it possible that we will have a tie for a winner this year?

But of those seven, you’ve used up five. I suspect the win will turn on those differences, not the common choices.

Whoops, my math is off. The posters I mentioned have four differences, but nine in common.

I didn’t realize we were playing the Local Celebrity Death Pool.

Sounds like someone is jealous! :stuck_out_tongue:

From the OP:

Clark was in Montana, and two of the posters who picked her were in Arizona and Ontario, so Clark had some reaching influence it seems.

I had a radio celebrity last year they wouldn’t let me keep.
She croaked, too.

Susan Clark is also a Canadian actress, so you may want to confirm that the poster from Ontario actually picked the right one.

And did this woman have a syndicated show of some type, or was she only heard in Montana (and maybe Idaho on a clear day)? I Googled “Susan Clark” and…well, I’m still clicking Next.

I’m aware of the two different Susan Clarks and did check back with the poster’s lists, before I confirmed the points. They, all three of them, were talking about the radio personality.

Don’t you find it fishy that this local radio personality doesn’t immediately come up when her name is Googled? I realize people do searches for “celebrity death pools” and find choices that aren’t immediately obvious, which is fine (though a tad ghoulish and contrary to the spirit of the game), but this smacks of someone who is famous solely for his or her terminal illness, which does violate rule 3(g).

No, I don’t find it fishy, and the points will count. I also don’t think that “3g” is being violated.

Remember, it’s just a game.
