Thanks. I just substracted the dates on Wikipedia, but now they seem to agree with you, so either I made an error (not improbable) or the dates have been corrected. I’m not worried – I’m still having my best year ever, with two dead celebrities.
Per the New York Times “Nolan Bertrandoff Miller was born on Jan. 8, 1933, in Burkburnett, Tex., the fourth of five children. (He later said he was born in 1935, according to his family.)” Maybe that’s where the confusion came from.

I did that one year. I had Thurl Ravenscroft and Admiral James Stockdale. Stockdale was the running mate of H. Ross Perot in 1992 and Ravenscroft was the voice of Tony the Tiger for over fifty years. He also sang the songs in “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”
That’s because there aren’t that many Dopers whose secondary hangouts are fashion and beauty boards. Finding unique picks who are political figures or cartoon voices is a lot harder around here. 
I have a number of unique picks. They are just very unlikely to die this year … sigh.
Over in Cafe Society Eve is reporting that Frank Cady, aka Sam Drucker, has died, at the age of 96.
A unique pick for Sigmagirl
Another bummer. My “sitcom” theme this year has netted me Richard Dawson and Cady. Probably easier if you pick people you don’t like. 
I’ll bet you have the best record among the “theme” players.
Sorry to say that’s not the case. Sigmagirl is the only player with two unique picks, themed list or not.
But of the five players with themed lists that actually have points, Sigmagirl is in fifth place.

No. In fact she’s not the oldest: still living are Alicia “India Wilkes” Rhett (born February 1, 1915); de Havilland (July 1, 1916); Mary “Maybelle Meriwather” Anderson (April 3, 1920); and Mickey “Beau Wilkes” Kuhn (September 21, 1932). Someone obviously updated that page promptly.
