The Celebrity Death Pool 2013

dammit.

Gained no points on first place is what I meant.

Virgil Trucks, who pitched two no-hitters for the Detroit Tigers during the 1952 season, has died at the age of 95. Trucks won only five games that year as the Tigers lost 104 times, but had helped Detroit win the 1945 World Series over the Chicago Cubs, and then won 20 games the year after he accomplished his “double no-hit” feat.

Bernadette “Bernie” Nolan is in hospice and doesn’t have much time left.

CAMJAY, if Nolan dies before her birthday in October you would be in the lead by three points.

Of course that’s assuming none of Registered at Last’s other picks die before hand.

Awaiting an official link, but WSCR in Chicago is reporting that former Chicago Bulls player and broadcaster Tom Boerwinkle has died at age 66.

The link to Boerwinkle’s death: http://aol.sportingnews.com/ncaa-basketball/story/2013-03-27/tom-boerwinkle-dies-tennessee-volunteers-all-american-passes-away

And he was 67, not 66.

Uncle Vernon will trouble Harry Potter no more.
Richard Griffiths, aged 65.
And as a side note… I can’t believe he was only 65. He’s been old forever.

Screenwriter Don Payne died of cancer at 48. He wrote scripts for The Simpsons and several super-hero movies: My Super Ex-Girlfriend, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, and Thor.

:frowning:

Very, very sad to hear of this. He is more than Uncle Vernon. He’s in a ton of things.

Sleepy Hollow
Hitchhiker’s Guide

Many others. I guess he had heart surgery and died. :frowning:

I could have sworn somebody had picked this guy but I’ve checked and nobody had selected him.

Oh, you just forgot, baker. East to do.

Say, I forgot your Pay Pal address.

I think I had him last year, but not this year.

I checked back on my last year’s data and yep, you had Griffiths last year! :frowning:

Professional wrestler Reid Flair, son of Ric Flair, dead at 75 points.

Per Billboard, legendary music producer Phil Ramone has died at 72.

Your link now says 79.

candide picked the wrong Flair. The father, Ric, would be a unique pick.

: pencils Ric Flair in on my list for next year :

Reason for Editing: because :pencils

A bunch of peeps just died at the age of 0. A tragic waste of 100 points.
