We’ve changed the Great Debates forum description to read as follows:

“For long-running discussions of the great questions of our time. This is also the place for religious debates. Other discussion of religion, religious figures, personal beliefs and the like typically belongs in the IMHO or MPSIMS forums.”

This change does two things: (1) clarifies that Great Debates is for religious debates only, not general discussion of religion, and (2) drops the reference to witnessing, which was not well understood and confused matters.
