rio can’t be a toll taker, I have been over most if not all of the Mississippi river bridges and the decks aren’t that high but I am going to guess steel construction/repair of said bridges, some of the arches and suspension gear are that tall, just a WAG
I need to pull the jugs of my MC and am seriously lacking in motivation to do it, that is what I get for riding an old KZ. Joy

When Mrs. Plant v.2.0 drove to Little Rock from New Hampshire, she had a cell phone I had given her.
She thought the Nashua was a river. 
She called me from Memphis when she saw the Father of Waters. “How long is it? Is it save to drive across?!?”
Finally I am home alone with Mrs. Plant v.3.0 during a thunderstorm.
She is asleep on the couch, having gone into her Dark Satanic Mill at midnight to do inventory.

But she is here, there is a thunderstorm, and the big windows of her upstairs living room to watch it from.
I have a glass of wine and an e-cigarette.

An aside during my time with the Asylum Street Spankers, they did some dirty versions of the Hokey Pokey, some clean ones as well. We all know which versions Spidey likes. They are available on You Tube, IIRC they have a channel.

Evening! Monday was a Monday. My home Thai green curry was very disappointing no taste to it at all. Boo.

We went to the new Longhorn Steakhouse for supper. I was not impressed. I called for call-ahead seating, and they said there was no wait so they wouldn’t take my name. We got there in less than an hour, and the lobby was full - 20 minute wait. Strike one.
We were seated within the 20 minutes, and waited 10 minutes for a server. Strike 2.
After she took our order, it was fully 15 minutes before our salads arrived, and we weren’t halfway thru the salads when our entrees came. Strike 3.
Our drinks got really low and we had to grab our server as she went zipping by. Strike 4.
Frankly, I wasn’t all that impressed, and I have no desire to return. I told them as much via on-line survey. At least I didn’t have to do dishes.
Thus endeth my day. Glad it’s a short week.
Home from men’s night over to the church house. We had a nice crowd tonight. Ok, nice crowd for us bein’ twenty -five. A good time was had by all. Good company. Good food. Good beerverages. We chilled and we grilled. Unofficially we call ourselves “Chill and Grill.”
