What I don’t understand and haven’t since this war began is why the hell is the left so pissed with Biden? Do they think he would defund Israel? Both the US and UK are aware of the grave violations against innocent human life by the IDF but they will continue to fund Israel. I see the occasional Dem who says they won’t vote for Biden next year and would vote for a Republican. As if it’ll be any different. Do they think the Republican party doesn’t support Israel?!!?!!?

I’m aware I’m over simplifying this situation but I think people need to get a grip and understand our governments in the west aren’t going to stand down from supported the state of Israel, even under gross violations of human rights.

They’d be immigrants if they moved to England or Holland. For those who do think Israel was a colonial project, were the Jews moving to Ottoman Palestine immigrants or colonists? What about those moving to Mandatory Palestine? I would assume the difference is whether they intended to live according to local laws and become part of another country, versus set up their own society/government according to their own rules?
