Um, didn’t you get the memo, Freudian? It was kind of hard to miss, a couple of pages ago. There’s no such thing as executing any more.
Lynching/Executing is our only option now. God told us so.
Oops, sorry, haven’t been keeping up as well as I should have. Question, though–what happens if the last person to vote for someone is already infected with sin?
I believe that we’re supposed to forget the executing/ostracizing distinction entirely. Lynching now works exactly as it does in a normal game.
Mahaloth is wrong. We can only ostracize. Not execute. Seeds of Sin can only be planted by the Sinners’ night action now.
I kinda pissed God off.

Um, no, wouldn’t a scum want to make every effort to keep up with the conversation? How is it possibly a scum tell? And if I were a scum, I wouldn’t admit to doing that. It’s just that this game goes super fast, especially in the early days. :rolleyes:
Wow… you guys are just too much… fuck it… at this point all I have done is give you info. Scum only sees that I have info on the sinfection aspect of the game and nothing else, so I am no threat to them, Sinners only see that I can somehow keep track of the number of sinfected… and that’s no real threat to them, even if it was, they can’t do anything about it. And town has a lot to gain by knowing how many people are sinfected… it helps us keep track of how close we are to losing.
So wtf did I do that is so scummy… I had info that is pertinent now, and I distributed it. It in no way helps anybody but town. And you seem to want me to claim before you are willing to trust me… that’s fuckin stupid in it’s stupidest form. If I claim, then I give the scum and sinners even more info that they may or may not be able to act on… and me claiming provides no good info to town. So I’ll tell you what. Lynching me would be very bad. You can decide to believe me or not… but you really don’t want to lynch me…
And Freudian… pay attention… the mechanic for O or E has been eliminated… how could you not know that?

Stop. Scum would do this or scum wouldn’t do that are not useful metrics. You start thinking like that and you WIFOM yourself into a tailspin and make mistakes. It’s all about motivations. What would a blackheart vs a sinner vs a townie have to gain from skimming the thread?

It’s a Scum tell because Scum don’t need to read carefully to figure out who the Scum is. They already know. If you were a blackheart, you could happily skim as long as there’s no danger of lynching one of your kind.
The Town has to read carefully as this thread is the only place where we can figure out who the Scum are.
So, yeah, it’s a Scum tell. And you didn’t seem to notice it.
