Well, if you’re causing people to become sinfected, then yeah, we do want you outed. That’s kind of the point of the game.
I think I just figured out why Mafia frustrates me so much… people have no creativity… and when I bring up possibilities, they cant grasp them and they end up thinking I am scum. Grow an imagination people.
I don’t believe the claim. A tracker is a pretty weak investigative role(that’s what his third claimed power is). The power is actively anti-town when it recruits a random member of the Town to the Sinners. Why would pedescribe give an anti-town power to a townie?
Vote paul
Agreed. Even if he is town, he’s a risky townie to have around.

Jesus Fuckin Christ, Rysto! You are one of the densest people ever…
Receiving the Seed of Sin does not mean you are recruited to the Sinners.
Otherwise my first power would be useless
Re-Vote Paul
What is so risky about my powers?
You people make no sense…
The part about a townie being recruited to the sinners?
On the side:
This is the exact reason I LOVE haggle. I can do next to anything, at next to any point in the game.
I get that there are ways to undo the recruitment, like prayer. Sorry for being imprecise, but I was trying to be brief. I’m at work and don’t have a lot of time for posting. I maintain that your claimed ability is anti-town.
Furthermore, yesterDay you were making up outlandish possible downsides to ostracism, trying to convince the Town to execute instead. You seem very interested in making sure that people are infected with the Seed of Sin. I think that you’re a Sinner.
Again… you’re aren’t getting that receiving the seed of sin is not being recruited… it counts towards their wincon… which is to have all remaining players at the end of the game have the seed of sin on them. Their wincon is not to have all remaining players be sinners. If everyone received the seed of sin, and all the sinners were killed and the town won… then both the town and the sinners would win. Are you getting it yet? You can have the seed of sin on you and still be town… and still have the same wincon as everyone else in town.
And yesterday I was coming up with CREATIVE possible downsides to ostracism… not outlandish… and the reason why is because I knew that I could counteract the downside to Execution… no one had any clue what would happen as a result of Ostracism.
**Pede… if EVERYONE voted me, would the day end early? Or is suicide possible? At this point it is better that I just die so that these blockheads can move on and hopefully not be so closed minded toward the next person they force to role claim. **
No, you can’t. You have to choose. Either you have the town win condition or the sinner win condition(or Blackheart win condition).
I think paul is saying that the Sinners try to recruit someone to their side every night and that’s what happened to Angel. Those are the only ones to become Sinners. If that person accepts, they become a Sinner and can join their discussions and stuff. I think he’s also saying that some people receive the Seed of Sin and become Impure townies. They still win with the town but they’re not pure. I don’t really understand where he gets that from though.
Like I said you CAN have the Seed of Sin and have the town wincon. You are given the choice to either convert or pray. I offer a third choice… I can purge the seed of sin from someone… yes it comes at a cost… but it seems like everything in this game does.
Humor me, and assume that Paul’s pm cut and paste is the real deal.
Wouldn’t we have a strictly better Priest than this, still out there, if Paul is telling the truth?
At this point, I think we are locked into this thing, and it COULD be worse. Odds wise, we were gonna off another townie tonight, anyway, right?
Given the state the game is in right now, I think we have no choice.
So you’re saying that if someone receives the Seed via some means other than the Sinner’s night action, they have to agree to convert and then they become a Sinner?
Besides that… I asked about all the recruitment things as it relates to the seed of sin. I asked if the seed of sin is removed from a sinner will they become town… and got told no. Well… actually what I asked was if a town received the seed of sin and converted, and then prayed would the seed be removed… and the answer was yes but their wincon would not change back.
I don’t know who is making the power up,
But on what planet is “Random Sinfection” a even remotely coherent trade off for Tracking?!
Makes no sense to me, at all.
It seems that way to me… but the timing is a little unclear… because it would seem the conversion to Sinner would be instant… but the ultimative is to pray for two consecutive Nights… so if someone prayed the first Night and then used their powers the second Night instead of praying would they be converted?
I guess that warrants asking Pede…
If someone who had the Seed of Sin prayed the first Night and then used their powers the second Night instead of praying would they be converted?
